    New Parents and Carers Helpline for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND in East Sussex. The helpline will be available until schools, nurseries, colleges and alternative provision are fully open to all pupils again after the Covid-19 pandemic.

    New first-time mothers living in Hailsham or Eastbourne can join Home-Start East Sussex’s free Being Mum programme, a six-week course to chat about the challenges and changes associated with becoming a mum, and a chance to form friendships with other new mums in their area. During the pandemic, we are running this service online via Zoom but will be returning to face-to-face programmes once it is safe to do so.
